ANNA BREIT (she/her) is a graphic designer based in Leipzig, Germany. Her work evolves around a combination of applied design and an ongoing investigation on various aspects of writing and reading. An intensive theoretical examination of the content and exchange with the collaborators are important components of her work processes. She mainly moves back and forth between the media of book, print and type, she also writes and works with ceramics. Shifts in materiality add physical and performative aspects to all levels of her projetcs. Blurring the lines between application and artistic expression, she considers her practice as a form of visual research and translational work.
